They are of particular benefit in psychiatry, due to the fact that the theoretical framework of this field, as in the currently applied psychiatric diagnostic criteria (for example, as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual, fifth edition (DSM-5), published by the American Psychiatric Association), makes recall more difficult.
